A little summer update.....

I know I have been a bad blogger....I apologize!! Things around the Grenier home have been a bit hectic! LOL Summer has brought a great deal of many changes for your family...including the decision to move our family to Athabasca!!

I am nervous and excited all in one!! This change will bring forth a great many "changes" for our family.....including one really BIG change for me!! I will...after all these years...become a SAHM!! (Stay at home mom)

I am very excited about this, but a bit unsure as I have always worked...for those that know me...I am a BUSY BUSY BUSY person (all self inflicted - LOL) I always manage to overload my "to do" plate and this being at home stuff should help to slow me down a bit (maybe!!LOL)

My boys are very excited about this move...they are finding it difficult not seeing their daddy so much & this move will bring us closer to hubby/daddy...therefore having him home every night.

This move is also moving us away from family...for this I am saddened! I will miss being so close to my sister and her family...but I hope that the visits will be frequent both ways - LOL

Good bye to another school year!!

And a GREAT BIG thank you to all the teachers out there that work so hard, and put in so much time for our children!!! You are loved and we appreciate all your hard work!

A whirlwind month.....

I honestly do not know where the time is going, and how I manage to get through each day - LOL. It seems the "MOMMY DO LIST" gets longer each night while I sleep!! Summer is fast approaching and I am absolutely thrilled!! I have been so busy working outside getting the flower beds and planters ready. We are still experiencing some cold evenings and even frost on occassion. So every night I load my twenty plus pots into the garage for safe keeping (would hate to loose all my hard work to a bit of mothers natures nasty frost!!)

With all the yard work, planting, painting and such I have not had as much time to scrapbook as I would like. BUT no matter what I do try to make sure I am sneaking in at least an hour or so each night...VERY theraputic after a BUSY BUSY day!

The kids are counting down the days till summer holidays...I think they were ready to be done school about a month ago (honestly so was I - LOL).There are no big vacation plans in our families future...mostly camping as we do most summers. This is a favorite past time of ours and I am looking forward to getting right into the swing of summer!!

I am a little late in sharing these kits with you...BUT better late than never!! I would hate for you to miss out on these scrumptious collections of goodies!!
