How cute are THESE...Easter Bunny Paper Piecings!!

So yesterday I was sitting sipping my coffee, checking my emails and just starting my day as I normally do when I started to think of Easter projects. I always like to come up with new ideas each year, and this year I knew I wanted to make good use of my cricut machine.

So after a bit of playing around...trying this and trying that...THESE little cuties are what I came up with!! I LOVE THEM!! My pictures simply do not do these beauties justice!! They are absolutely adorable!!

Meet Pansy, Petunia, Paige, Pearl and Pheobe!! Don't you just love them!!

I used my Cricut cartridge "George & Basic Shapes" to make these little gems. Along with a few other punchies, embellies and some yummy trims they are ready to decorate those easter cupcakes, flower pots or will even make for a cute card topper.

Card Challenge - It's a HAPPY DAY!

Good morning!! Hope you all slept well, 6:30am sure seems to come quickly! My kids are gone and off to school and I am just about ready to start my day. My "To - Do" list always seems to be so long, but I have slowly learnt that it NEVER ends and I will accomplish it all in due time - LOL

Today I wanted to start you off with a little card challenge. Something quick and easy and hopefully will offer a bit of inspiration to get you scrapping! Our weather has turned colder here, so I for one will be staying in doors keeping warm and there is no better way to do that than sitting at my scrap table - LOL

A PRIMA good day!!

There really is no better way to jump start the week than a YUMMY package of PRIMA GOODIES!!

Today was my "run to town" day & I am so glad I did!! Waiting at the post office was a yummy package of prima goodies I ordered last week! I can not wait to start playing with these beauties!!

After I was done drooling over my goodies, I spent the afternoon painting up some plant pots, chipboard boxes and a few tins. I have some projects in mind...don't worry I will share once they are complete!

Right now I am just waiting on supper...it is spaghetti, salad and garlic bread night. YUMMY! A nice home cooked and simple meal (my guys requested a simple... & they were very specific about this...spaghetti and meat sauce - LOL)

My Sunday 10 Things....

I love Sundays! Always have & I always will. Sundays continue to be a day of R&R in our home. No rush to get up and going, no lists to complete...no expectations! We enjoy the day as it unfolds itself...stay in our pj's longer than usual (sometimes all day!)...we simply enjoy the happiness of just being together.

Today my HAPPY 10 things are...

1) Laying in bed and listening to my boys playing TOGETHER for a change.
2) That first sip of coffee!
3) A Tasty morning breakfast of eggs, bacon, hashbrowns & toast.
4) Sitting back sipping my coffee & enjoying a morning conversation with my husband as my boys voluntarily clean up the breakfast dishes.
5) Watching my little Tyson ride the "big" boy quad and feeling so proud & sad at the same time.
6) Watching big soft white flakes of snow fall as I sit at my kitchen table (I don't always feel so happy about this fact - LOL - but today it just looks so pretty)
7)Sitting back watching an afternoon movie with my guys!
8)A yummy A&W Mozza burger for supper! A special treat!
9)Tucking my babies into bed, reading a story and a little cuddle before lights out!
10)An evening cup of tea and a little relaxing with my hubby!


Try marking down your HAPPY 10 things...not only are they a wonderful way to put things into perspective...but they make for great scrapbook journaling later ;)
